December 31, 1998 - Leitrim Pub, Worcester, MA

Our first show - new year's eve. Yeah, what an awesome first show! We are all geeked for what's to come. Played two one hour sets (one in 1998 and one in 1999). The joint was a rockin and there was much gyrations among the crowd. Special guest appearance by our friend Brett on harmonica on two songs and an appearance by Grub's 13 year old cousin on drums on one song. We played 17 originals and 8 or 9 covers. Most interesting was the spice girls song (we waited till 1:30am when everyone was good and lubed up) and got a few chicks to come up and sing. They didn't know most of the words, but they looked good anyway. Oh, and thanks to Greg for keeping our photographer from getting beat up by some meat head in the bathroom. Had to unexpectedly extend our set by 1 song when Mike's brother Jim showed up just as we were finishing. Had quite a mosh pit going during "Bitter Taste", not to mention a lot of ass-grabbing. Nate didn't have to breakdance afterall, but he did get Leitrim's 1998 liquor license as a momento from Louie - sweet, man. Sold all the demo CDs we brought with us (at $3 a pop who wouldn't?). Man, we need to record a full length.
